Last updated: October, 2026
2 Witnesses Broadcasting Network (“2WBN”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a TV and radio ministry of the John’s Foundation INC, based in Papua New Guinea. This policy explains what personal information we collect through 2wbn.org and radio.2wbn.org (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, your email address, and any message you choose to write, such as a prayer request, a request for a pastoral visit or Bible study, or a testimony.
- Newsletter and Zoom Bible Study sign-ups: your name and email address, and anything else the sign-up form asks for.
- Email, phone, or in-person contact: any details you share when you reach out to us directly.
Sensitive information: Prayer requests and pastoral messages often reveal religious beliefs, health, or family circumstances. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. We treat this information as confidential and use it only to pray for you, respond to you, or arrange the help you asked for.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device and operating system
- Pages visited, time on site, and the website that referred you
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 3)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To run and maintain the Site and our broadcasts
- To respond to messages, prayer requests, and visit or Bible study requests
- To send newsletters, program updates, and Zoom Bible Study details, only if you signed up
- To organise and run Zoom Bible Studies and related outreach
- To understand how the Site is used and improve it
- To keep the Site secure and prevent misuse
- To meet legal obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not use prayer requests for marketing.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to make pages work, remember preferences, and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working. Embedded content (such as YouTube videos or social feeds) and web fonts may also set their own cookies or receive your IP address from your browser.
4. Who We Share Information With
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run the Site and our communications, such as web hosting, our email and newsletter platform (Mailchimp), and Zoom. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Church leadership and ministry team members who need it to respond to you (for example, a pastor arranging a visit).
- Authorities or advisers, where required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- A successor organisation, if our ministry is restructured or transferred, who would be bound to honour this policy.
5. International Data Transfers
Some of our providers (such as Mailchimp and Zoom) store and process data in other countries, including the United States. By using these services, you understand your information may be transferred outside Papua New Guinea. We choose reputable providers and share only what is needed.
6. Social Media and Third-Party Sites
The Site links to our pages on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X, and TikTok, to our radio stream, and to partner sites such as the Adventist Church and OneVoice 2027. These sites have their own privacy practices, and we do not control them. Anything you post on our social media pages is public and governed by each platform’s terms. We are not responsible for how other sites handle your information.
Zoom Bible Studies: Some sessions may be recorded or streamed to our social media channels. We will tell you at the start of a session if it is being recorded. If you prefer not to appear, you can keep your camera and microphone off or leave the session.
7. How Long We Keep Information
- Contact form messages and prayer requests: [e.g., 12 months] after we respond, unless you ask us to keep them longer or ongoing care is needed
- Newsletter and Bible Study sign-ups: until you unsubscribe
- Site analytics data: [e.g., 26 months] or as set by our analytics provider
- Information we must keep by law: for the legally required period
When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct or update it
- delete it
- stop or limit how we use it
You can also withdraw consent at any time. To unsubscribe from emails, use the link at the bottom of any message or contact us. We will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days. If you are in a country with data protection laws that give you additional rights, we will respect them.
9. Children and Young People
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Young people under 18 should get a parent or guardian’s permission before signing up for Zoom Bible Studies or sending us personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information without permission, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access limits and trusted providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects you in a way that creates a serious risk, we will notify you as required by law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will highlight them on the Site.
